As the author of Enders Game and its sequelSpeaker for the Dead, he is the only author to win two of science fictions most prestigious awards (The Hugo award and the The Nebula award) in consecutive years (1985 and 1986). He is most well known for his science fiction and fantasy writing (in addition to his books in the Enderverse he has also authored a series of fantasy novels, The Tales of Alvin Maker, and a few religiously based fiction novels The Women of Genesis series), but has also authored comic books, screenplays and scripts for computer games.
